Before you order, read this

Check your block for stripped head bolt threads. The 2AZ-FE is known for pulling head bolt threads out of the aluminum block, and Toyota issued a warranty enhancement over it. If your threads are damaged, the block needs M11x1.5 thread inserts installed before any gasket kit will hold. No head gasket set fixes a stripped block.

This is a full rebuild, not a bolt-on job. Plan on machine shop work: check the crank journals, bore and hone the block, and resurface the head. Measure your bearing clearances rather than assuming standard.

Verify the head bolt length against factory spec before assembly. Torque the head in the correct sequence and to the correct spec, in stages.
