46mm cylinder and piston kit for the Stihl MS270 and MS280. New.

Fitment Stihl MS280 and MS280C, standard replacement. The MS280 is a 46mm bore saw, so this is a direct stock replacement. Stihl MS270 and MS270C, big bore upgrade. The MS270 is a 44mm bore saw at roughly 50cc. Fitting this 46mm kit takes it to roughly 54cc, essentially MS280 displacement.
If you have an MS270 and want it back to stock, you need the 44mm kit, part number 1133 020 1200. This 46mm kit will make more power but it is a modification, not a stock rebuild.
MS270 owners: this kit is set up for saws with a decompression valve. Check whether yours has one before ordering.

Before you rebuild, find out why the old top end failed. Scoring on the intake side usually means an air leak, so check the crank seals, the intake boot and the impulse line before you assemble. A new cylinder installed on a saw with an unresolved air leak will fail the same way.
Clean the crankcase thoroughly. Any debris left from the old piston will destroy the new one.
