These are DE grids, not cartridges. They require diatomaceous earth powder to filter. If your filter does not use DE powder, this is not the right part.

Filters particles down to 2 to 5 microns, which is finer than a sand or cartridge filter can manage. That is why DE gives the clearest water of the three filter types.

Confirm your filter size before ordering. This 72 sq ft set uses 36 inch tall grids. The same grid family is also made in 36 sq ft with 18 inch grids, 48 sq ft with 24 inch grids and 60 sq ft with 30 inch grids. Measure the height of your existing grids.

This set is grids only. It does not include the manifold, retainer rod or air bleed assembly. Reuse your existing hardware.

Replace all 8 grids as a set. A single torn grid lets DE powder back into the pool and puts uneven load on the rest.
