Sizing: 3/4 HP suits small to medium ponds. For larger ponds and small lakes, or if you want a taller display, step up to a 1 HP unit. Deeper water gives a better spray pattern.
Electrical requirements
Like all pond and fountain equipment, this must be plugged into a GFCI protected outlet. If your outdoor receptacle is not GFCI protected, have one installed before use.
Confirm the cord length reaches your intended outlet before installing. An extension cord is not an acceptable substitute for a properly located outdoor receptacle on a submersible pump.
