REQUIREMENTS, please read all of this before ordering
3-bolt cam gear required. Gen III LS engines use a 3-bolt cam gear. Later engines use a single cam bolt and will need a 3-bolt timing set to run this cam.
Not compatible with AFM or DOD. If your engine has Active Fuel Management or Displacement on Demand, you need an AFM delete kit and the system disabled in the ECM.
Custom tuning is required. This is not a bolt-on part. The engine will not run correctly on the factory tune.
Vacuum: the 112 LSA produces a strong lopey idle but may not generate enough vacuum for power brakes and air conditioning. If your vacuum is marginal, plan on an electric vacuum pump.
Automatic transmissions: a 2,500 to 2,800 RPM stall converter is recommended to get the most out of this cam.
Pushrods are not included. Verify your pushrod length after installation. Many builds with this cam use 7.400 inch pushrods.
This is a performance camshaft intended for off-road and racing use. It is not emissions legal for street use on emissions-controlled vehicles in many states, and it is not CARB certified.
