Fits: Sta-Rite System 3 S8M600 modular media cartridge filter, 600 sq ft
Inner module: replaces 25021-0225S, 252 sq ft, 29.7 inches long, 12.5 inch outer diameter
Outer module: replaces 25022-0228S, 348 sq ft, 21.5 inches long, 20.25 inch outer diameter
Total filtration area: 600 sq ft
The System 3 design combines the cartridge and the water collecting manifold into one module, with the manifold sitting between the inner and outer pleats. Water filters through both the outer fabric surface and the inner core surface, which is how 600 sq ft of media fits into a tank this size.
Please confirm your filter model before ordering
This set fits the S8M600 only. It does not fit the S8M500, which uses 25021-0224S and 25022-0225S. Note that the S8M500 outer is 25022-0225S while the S8M600 inner is 25021-0225S. The numbers look nearly identical and the parts are not interchangeable.
It also does not fit the S8M150, S7M400 or S7M120.
Read the part numbers molded into your existing cartridges and check them against the dimensions listed above.
Replace both modules as a set. Running a new module against a worn one loads the new one unevenly and shortens its life.
